At that time, some universities opposed providing pedagogical formation training to students graduating from different undergraduate programs. Some universities gave the pedagogical formation certificate under the name of non-thesis master's education. Over time, the pedagogical formation training given to graduates of faculties other than the faculty of education has turned into a certificate program taken during undergraduate education, that is, during undergraduate education.The purpose of this research is to determine the opinions of academicians who take pedagogical formation certificate program courses about taking pedagogical formation training in intermediate classes while studying at undergraduate level. The study group of the research consists of academics who took courses in the pedagogical formation certificate program affiliated with Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Education in the 2023-2024 academic year. The research is a qualitative research about the opinions of academicians who take courses in the pedagogical formation certificate program. In the research, the case study method was used. Research data was collected with a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher. All data obtained was coded and analyzed using the content analysis method. In the research, it was concluded that there is no harm in students who graduated from the departments of the Ministry of National Education that are suitable for the teaching profession, to become teachers by taking pedagogical formation training, that it would be more beneficial to receive pedagogical formation training after basic training, and that taking pedagogical formation training courses, especially during undergraduate education, would not cause the student to lose extra time.
