Methods: A neglected perineal tear was repaired using the technique described. Results: The patient's St Mark's incontinence score improved from 22 out of 24 to 6 out of 24. Conclusions: This technique may be practical and useful for intraoperative mapping of distorted perineal and anal anatomy to assist surgical repair. © 2008 International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAnal incontinenceElectrostimulatorIntraoperative mappingSurgical repairIntraoperative mapping of anal and perineal anatomy using an electrostimulatorArticle1031222510.1016/j.ijgo.2008.05.010186561962-s2.0-52049127025Q1
