Method: Apgar scores of patients who received general or regional anesthesia in cesarean sections performed in Mustafa Kemal University, Tayfur Ata Sökmen Faculty of Medicine between 2004 and 2007 were retrospectively investigated and compared. Results: No difference was found regarding maternal age, gestation week, and weight of patients who received general or regional anesthesia (p > 0.05). Apgar scores recorded at 1st and 5th min were also similar between the groups (p > 0.05).
