Genel cerrahi uzmanlık eğitim programı ve ultrasonografi eğitimi

Abstract

USG pek çok yerde kullanıldığı gibi Genel Cerrahide de noninvaziv olması, radyasyon içermemesi, çabuk ve kolay uygulanabilmesi, acile, servise, yoğun bakıma rahat taşınabilmesi nedeniyle yaygın olarak başvurulan etkili, faydalı tanı ve tedaviye katkı sağlayan bir yöntemdir. USG'nin Genel Cerrahlar tarafından da öğrenilmesi ve yapılmasının gerekliliği ve pek çok faydaları vardır. Bu mektup Genel Cerrahi uzmanlık eğitiminde Ultrasonografinin öğretilmesini, en çok üyeye sahip derneklerinden olan Türk Cerrahi Derneğinin Ulusal Cerrahi Dergisinde tartışmaya açmak ve gündeme getirmek amacıyla yazılmıştır.

Since it is non-invasive, radiation-free, easy to perform, and easy to transport to emergency rooms or intensive care units; USG is an effective and commonly performed method that contributes both diagnosis and tratment. Therefore, it is required for general surgeons to learn how to perform USG. This letter is written to open a discussion forum about ultrasonography teaching in general surgery resident training in Journal of National Surgery owned by Turkish Surgery Society, one of the most populated societies.
