Eklemeli dil yapısının Türkçe öğretiminde oluşturduğu bilişsel (Kognitif) zeminler

Abstract

İnsanoglu çevresini ana diliyle algılar ve yorumlar. Her dil, kendisine özgü yapılardan süzülmüs kurallar silsilesiyle anlama ve anlatma süreçlerini gerçeklestirir. Bu iki sürecin içerdigi temel dil becerileri açısından, ögrencilerin ana dillerini dogru bir sekilde kullanabilecek düzeye getirilmesi, Türkçe egitiminin temel hedeflerinden biridir. Bu hedefe ulasmada hareket noktası Türkçe olmalıdır. Türkçeyi kaynasık dillerden ayıran en temel özelliklerden biri, eklemeli dil yapısıdır. Bu yapı özelligi, farklı çalısma alanlarındaki verilerle karsılastırıldıgında, Türkçenin ana dili olarak ögretimi sürecine önemli açılımlar sunmaktadır. Ana dili egitiminde, dilin yapısal karakterinden de yararlanılması gerektigi düsüncesinden hareketle, bu çalısmada, Türkçenin ana dili olarak ögretilmesi sürecinde eklemeli dil yapısının olusturdugu bilissel zeminler, disiplinler arası bir bakıs açısıyla tespit edilmistir. Türkçede, eklemeli yapıyı olusturan yapım ve çekim ekleri, sahip oldukları yapısal özellikler açısından ayrı ayrı ele alınmıs; tespit edilen bu özellikler, ana dili egitimiyle ilgili temel kavramlardan yola çıkılarak degerlendirilmistir.

Human beings understand and interpret their environment via their mother tongues. Every language realizes its understanding and expressing processes with rules filtered from its special characteristic structures. Regarding the basic language skills these two processes (understanding and expressing) include, bringing students to the level of speaking their mother tongue in a correct way is one of the most important objectives of Turkish language education. The point of departure for achieving this objective should be Turkish. The most outstanding feature separating Turkish from other inflexional languages is its agglutinating structure. When handled with data from various study fields, this feature can be seen to bring critical dimensions to the process of teaching Turkish as first language. Moving from the proposition that the structural character of language should be considered when teaching first language, this study investigates with an interdisciplinary approach the cognitive backgrounds—caused by the agglutinating structure of Turkish—in the process of teaching Turkish as first language. In the study, the derivational affixes and inflexional suffixes in Turkish are handled separately, and the features observed to exist are evaluated in the light of concepts related to first language teaching.
