İlköğretim 7. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabının dil ile ilgili kültür ögeleri açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Yayınları ilköğretim 7. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında dil ile ilgili kültür ögelerine ne ölçüde yer verildiğini ve bu ögelerin öğrencilere nasıl aktarıldığını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini, incelenen Türkçe ders kitabı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada evrenin tamamı değerlendirilmiş ayrıca örnekleme yoluna gidilmemiştir. Bu çalışmada, literatürden yararlanılarak ve uzman görüşü alınarak dil ile ilgili kültür ögeleri listesi oluşturulmuş ve Türkçe ders kitabı incelendikçe bu liste şekillendirilmiştir. Listede yer verilmeyen bir ögeyle karşılaşıldığında bu öge de listeye eklenmiştir. Türkçe ders kitabı bu dil ile ilgili kültür ögeleri listesine göre incelenmiştir. Araştırma örneklemini oluşturan ilköğretim 7. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında yer alan dil ile ilgili kültür ögeleri, araştırmacı tarafından fişleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda, incelenen ders kitabında dil ile ilgili kültür ögelerinden deyimler (f=198), mecazi ifadeler (f=140), atasözleri (f=2), özdeyişler (f=16), ağız özellikleri (f=5), ikilemeler (f=110) ve yansımalara (f=9) yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu kültür ögelerinin metinler ve resimlerle öğrencilere aktarılmaya çalışıldığı belirlenmiştir.

In the content of this study, it is aimed to determine to what extent the language-related cultural elements are included and how they are conveyed to students in the Turkish course book of grade 7 elementary school, The Ministry of Education Publications. The studied Turkish course book forms the population of this study. In this research the whole population was evaluated, sampling method was not taken into consideration. In this study, the list of language-related cultural elements was formed by making use of literature and getting expert opinion and as the Turkish course book was studied, this list was reformed. Moreover, when met a element which was not included in the list before, it was added to the list. The Turkish course book was studied according to this language-related cultural elements list. The language-related cultural elements which are included in this book and which make up the research sample were determined by the researcher by making a card index. As a result of this study it was established that in this course book language-related cultural elements such as idioms (f=198), metaphorical expressions (f=140), proverbs (f=2), aphorisms (f=16), accent features (f=5), reiterative (f=110) and reflections (f=9) were all included. It was noticed that these language-related cultural elements were sought to be conveyed to the learners through texts and pictures.
