Kuseyr Platosu’nda (Hatay) miyosen sonrası morfojenetik süreç-jeomorfolojik yapı ilişkisi

Abstract

Gerek bulunduğu enlemin gerekse özel konumunun etkisiyle Türkiye’nin birçok bölgesi jeolojik mazide değişik morfojenetik süreçlere tabi olmuştur. Günümüzde var olan jeomorfolojik peyzaj incelendiğinde, bu konuya dayanak teşkil edecek şekilde çok değişik süreçlere ait birimlerin bir arada bulunduğu gözlenmektedir. Bu anlamda Hatay ve çevresinde de plüvyal morfojenetik sürece ait unsurların ağırlıklı olduğu bir jeomorfolojik çeşitlilikten söz edilebilir. Çalışma sahasını oluşturan Kuseyr Platosu’nda özellikle Miyosen sonrası plüvyal sürecin değişik yansımalarına rastlanmıştır. İklimde değişmeleri ve tektonizmaya bağlı meydana gelen farklı özellikteki jeomorfolojik birimler, bölgedeki morfojenetik sürecin iki ayaklı bir sistem dâhilinde işlediğini göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada Kuseyr Platosu’nda farklı klimajeomorfolojik süreçlere ait birimlerin hangi değişkenlere bağlı olarak bir arada bulunduğu sorgulanırken, morfojenetik süreçlerin ve jeomorfolojik yansımalarının ne gibi etmenler tarafından denetlendiği ortaya konulmuştur. Sonuç olarak tektonizmanın denetiminde, gücünü klimatik şartlar ve iklimde meydana gelen değişimlerden alan bir morfojenetik süreç Kuseyr Platosunun şekillenmesinde etkili olmuştur.

By both the latitude and the effect of parameters that refer to the specific position, many field of Turkey have been subject to different morphogenetic processes in geological past. It is observed that the units belong to different processes held together to constitute a basis in this issue when current existing geomorphological landscape is examined. In this regard, it may be mentioned that there is a variety of geomorphological elements dominated by the plüvyal morphogenetic process around Hatay. Different reflections of the plüvyal process, especially the post-Miocene, were found on the Kuseyr Plateau that builds up the work scope. Geomorphological units with different characteristics generated by changes in climate and tectonism proves that the morphogenetic process in this region works within a two-legged system. In this study, it has been explained which parameters are effective to changes on morphogenetic processes when they get involved in and what kind of factors control their geomorphological implications while examining how the units belong to different climageomorphological processes exist together depending on which variables on the Kuseyr Plateau. Thus, it is determined that processes with different characters controlled by tectonics different climatic conditions had been dominating formation of Kuseyr Plateau.
