Bir yüzelliliğin Halep gezi notlarından günceler : Tarık Mümtaz Yazganalp (Göztepe)

Abstract

Milli Mücadele döneminin muhalif kimliği ile ön plana çıkan Tarık Mümtaz, Damat Ferit'in yaverliğini yapmış, çeşitli gazetelerde yazılar yazarak, Ankara Hükümeti'ne ve Milli Mücadeleye karşı gelmiştir. Kurtuluş Savaşı sonrası 150'likler listesinde yer alan Mümtaz, Fransız Manda bölgesine sürgüne gönderilmiştir. Buradaki izlenimlerini günlüğüne aktaran Mümtaz, bize Fransızların bu bölgeye neden ilgi duydukları hakkında önemli ipuçları vermektedir. Bölgede de basınyayın faaliyetlerinde bulunarak çeşitli konularda görüşlerini de dile getirmiştir. Özellikle 1933 sonrası muhalif kimliğini terk ederek, Milli Mücadeleyi destekleme adına Fransızların faaliyetleri hakkında günlük tutması dikkate değerdir. Ankara Hükümeti'ninde desteğiye basın-yayın çalışmalarını sürdürdüğünü görmek mümkün olmuştur. Bu doğrultuda çıkarılan Hacivat-Karagöz gazetesi dönemin havasını anlamak açısından bizlere değerli bilgiler sunmaktadır. Halep ve civarı dönemin ithalat ve ihracat merzeki olması bakımından önem taşımaktadır. Manda bölgesinin iktisadi yapılanması hakkında bilgiler vererek bölge zenginliğinin nasıl sömürüldüğü günlüğünde ele alınmıştır. Yine Mümtaz, çeşitli tablolarla bölgesin sosyo-ekonomik hayatına dair bilgileri bize sunmuştur. Bu çalışmamızda da Eski Türkçe ile Halep'te kaleme aldığı "Çizgiler ve Bilgiler" adlı günlüğünde dönemin genel havası analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen bilgiler doğrultusunda Mümtaz'ın Fransız mandasına karşı gelip, 1933 yılı sonrası muhalif tavrını değiştirerek Milli Mücadeleye nasıl destek verdiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda da görecede olsa bu günlüğü tuttuğu anlaşılmıştır. Böylelikle monografik ve biyografik bir çalışmayla literatüre katkı sağlanmak amaçlanmıştır
