Yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde öğrencilerin metin oluşturma becerilerinin ve sorunlarının belirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkçe öğretim merkezindeB2 düzeyinde öğrenim gören yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin metin oluşturma becerilerini ve metin oluşturmadaki sorunlarını tespit etmektir. Araştırma, B2 düzeyinde olan yabancı uyruklu 21 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen "Yazma Formu" ve "Metin Oluşturma Becerisi Dereceli Puanlama Anahtarı" ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel istatistik teknikleri (frekans, ortalama, yüzde) kullanılmıştır. Yapılan incelemeler sonucu, öğrencilerin kelime düzeyinde yazma başarı ortalamaları ( =8.81), cümle düzeyinde yazma başarı ortalamalarına ( =6.50) ve paragraf düzeyinde yazma başarıları ortalamalarına ( =3.90) göre daha yüksektir. Metin oluşturma aşamalarına göre sonuçlar incelendiğinde başarı düzeyleri kelime düzeyinde orta (%66.6), cümle düzeyinde zayıf (%85.7) ve paragraf düzeyinde öğrencilerin tamamı (%100) zayıf düzeydedir

This study aimed to identify the text creation skills and text creation-related problems of foreign students who are at B2 level at the Turkish Teaching Center. The study was conducted with 21 foreign students who were at B2 level. The data were gathered using the “Writing Form” and the “Graded Scoring Key for Text Creation Skills” developed by the researcher. Descriptive statistical techniques (frequency, mean, percentage) were used in analyzing the data. According to the result of the study, the students' success in writing at 'word' level ( =8.81) was found to be higher than both their success in writing at 'sentence' level ( =6.50) and that at 'paragraph' level ( =3.90). As the results were analyzed according to the text creation stages, their success level was found to be satisfactory at word level (66.6%) and weak at sentence level (85.7%) whereas all of the students failed at paragraph level (100%)
