A new record forthe Turkish Dolicharthria Stephes, 1834 (Lepidoptera, Crambidae, Pyraustinae) Fauna of Adana Province

Abstract

The aim of the study is to obtain the fauna of Crambidae family in Adana province, Turkey, between March and November of 2002. Important taxonomic characteristics of the collected samples were described. An identification key was prepared by comparing them with those of Dolicharthria bruguieralis (Duponchel, 1833) and Dolicharthria punctalis (Denis & SchifFermüller, 1775). This paper reports the first record of D. bruguieralis in Turkey.

Adana civarından Türkiye Crambidae faunasının belirlenmesi amacıyla Mart-Kasım 2002 ayları arasında örneklendirme çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Toplanan örneklerin önemli taksonomik karakterlerinin tarifleri yapılmıştır. Dolicharthria bruguieralis (Duponchel, 1833) ve Dolicharthria punctalis (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) türleri karşılaştırılarak, tanı anahtarı oluşturulmuştur. D. bruguieralis'in Türkiye için yeni kayıt olduğu bu çalışma ile gösterilmiştir.
