Öğe COMPARATIVE STUDYING ON INTRODUCTORY RITUAL RELIGION IN ALAVIES(Gazi Univ, Turk Kulturu Ve Haci Bektas Veli, 2011) Turk, Huseyin; Capar, MustafaIntroductory ritual to religion can also be considered as an example of conscious and planned enculturation. Enculturation can be defined as an acquisition of proficiency of oneself in his culture as a youngster or adult including a number of conscious and / or unconscious conditioning acquired throughout the training period. Teachings given to the individual through enculturation period in early age are likely to form deep and indelible effects on the further stages of the youngster's life. The teenager will go in a new position in the community after these rituals. Henceforth he will be considered as an adult Alevi member who could even take part in other religious rituals. In this connection, the tradition can be compared to rituals of puberty practised in most primitive communities. Introductory ritual to religion is very important; because of consisting of common value and functions connecting to one another of peoples in community and providing of continuity of their religion. In this study, introductory tradition to religion which provide to transfer of secret acknowledge among Alawi-Bektashi and Nusayri generations and cem ceremonies in concern with this tradition are investigated as comparatively with the way of literature review and fieldwork technique.
