Öğe DESIGN OF VOLTAGE-MODE MULTIFUNCTION FILTER USING SINGLE CURRENT OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER(Ieee, 2014) Cicekli, Hasan; Gokcen, AhmetIn this study, a new voltage-mode multifunction filter based on single current operational amplifier (COA) is presented The proposed topology employs single CMOS based COA and it provides lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch filter functions by modifying only three admittances. The COA used in this study is implemented by CMOS based current conveyors and the validity of the proposed circuit is verified by PSPICE simulation programme. In simulation, the MOSIS 0.35 mu m CMOS process parameters are used. It is seen that the simulation results agree very well with the theoretical analysis. Also, the proposed circuit achieves a good THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) performance and the sensitivities of angular frequency to the passive components are shown to be low.Öğe MOS-C Based Electronically Tuneable Current/Voltage-Mode Third Order Quadrature Oscillator and Biquadratic Filter Realization(Kaunas Univ Technology, 2021) Cicekli, Hasan; Gokcen, AhmetThis paper introduces a new electronically tuneable third order quadrature oscillator and biquadratic filter with MOS-C realization using all grounded passive components. Voltage-mode second order low-pass, high-pass, band-pass filters using second generation current conveyor and a current/voltage-mode third order quadrature sinusoidal oscillator using multi-output second generation current conveyor are synthesized from the proposed circuit topology. All synthesized circuits are compatible with integration and the center frequency can be electronically tuned by the gate voltage of the MOS transistors. The proposed circuits do not need any component matching condition. Oscillation condition and frequency of oscillation can be independently controlled. Workability of the proposed circuits is validated by PSPICE software using 0.18 micrometer MOSIS CMOS process parameters at +/- 0.9 V supply voltage. Tuneability of the oscillator is demonstrated for a tested frequency range both in voltage-mode and current-mode operations.Öğe A new MOS-C multifunction filter and its third order oscillator application(Elsevier, 2020) Cicekli, Hasan; Gokcen, AhmetThis paper introduces a novel multifunction filter employing single current operational amplifier (COA) with MOS-C implementation and a third order sinusoidal oscillator as its application. The proposed topology provides voltage-mode high-pass, low-pass, all-pass, band-pass and band-stop filter functions by modifying four passive components. The workability of the circuit is confirmed by PSPICE simulation software using MOSIS 0.18 mu m CMOS model parameters and a good consistency observed between theoretical analysis and simulation results. The circuit is supplied by symmetrical voltage of +/- 0.9 V. Considering the number of input and output terminals, the proposed circuit can be classified as single input single output (SISO) filter. An experimental study using commercially available 844 CE as sub-circuit of COA which verify the workability of the proposed topology is also included. Electronic tunability of the central frequency, MOS-C implementation which is a requirement for integration, simple circuitry, low distortion and operability at low voltage are the considerable features of the introduced circuit. The proposed filter's performance has been evaluated by PSPICE. In simulation the MOSIS CMOS 0.35 mu m model parameters used for CMOS based CDTA. The simulation results show that the proposed filter has high performance in terms of working both at low and high frequencies. It was seen that the simulation results verified the theory. Also, the sensitivities of the passive circuit components are shown to be low.Öğe Single Active Element Based Variable Gain Multifunction Filter with MOS-C Implementation(World Scientific and Engineering Academy and Society, 2019) Cicekli, Hasan; Gokcen, AhmetThis paper introduces a new voltage-mode multifunction filter employing single current differencing transconductance amplifier (CDTA) and its MOS-C implementation. The proposed filter topology can synthesize all filter types, i.e. low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, band-stop and all-pass filters by modifying three admittances and gain of the filters can be adjusted independently by a resistor. Central frequency of the filters can be tuned electronically. The operability of the circuit is confirmed in close agreement with the theory by PSPICE simulation software using TSMC 0.18 micron CMOS model parameters at ±0.9 V supply voltage. The proposed circuit is suitable for integration technique through the MOS-C implementation. © 2019 WSEAS TRANSACTIONS on CIRCUITS and SYSTEMS. All rights reserved.
