Öğe New Sex Attractant for Jordanita anatolica (Naufock) (Lepidoptera: Zygaenidae: Procridinae)(Inst Zoology, Bas, 2010) Efetov, Konstantin A.; Can, Feza; Toshova, Teodora B.; Subchev, MitkoFour compounds, (2R)-butyl (7Z)-dodecenoate, (2R)-butyl (9Z)-tetradecenoate, (2S)-butyl (7Z)-dodecenoate and (2S)-butyl (9Z)-tetradecenoate, and mixtures of them were screened in sticky delta traps at two places, Serinyol and Yayladagi, in South East Turkey. As a result numerous Jordanita anatolica (NAUFOCK) (Lepidoptera: Zygaenidae: Procridinae) males were caught mainly in traps baited with the 1:1 mixture of (2R)-butyl (7Z)-dodecenoate and (23)-butyl (7Z)-dodecenoate. This is the first report on a sex attractant for J. anatolica. Both start and end of the flight of this species have not been exactly determined during the field work but from the results obtained it could be concluded that this species started flying before the middle of May and the season stopped after July 1. Two more species were caught during the field work. One male of Adscita obscura (ZELLER) was found in a trap baited with (2S)-butyl (7Z)-dodecenoate at Serinyol and another one in a trap baited with (2R)-butyl (7Z)-dodecenoate + (2S)-butyl (7Z)-dodecenoate at Yayladagi A total of 16 Theresimima ampellophaga (BAYLE-BARELLE) males were caught in traps baited with (2S)-butyl (7Z)-tetradecenoate, additionally screened compound, at both sites of screening.Öğe New sex attractant for Jordanita anatolica (Naufock)(Lepidoptera: Zygaenidae: Procridinae)(Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, 2010) Efetov, Konstantin A.; Can, Feza; Toshova, Teodora B.; Subchev, MitkoFour compounds, (2R)-butyl (7Z)-dodecenoate, (2R)-butyl (9Z)-tetradecenoate, (2S)-butyl (7Z)-dodecenoate and (2S)-butyl (9Z)-tetradecenoate, and mixtures of them were screened in sticky delta traps at two places, Serinyol and Yaylada?i, in South East Turkey. The sex attractants for the Procridinae had been produced in the Crimean Federal University and were esters of 2-dodecenoic acid and isomers of 2-butanol: EFETOV-2 [racemic mixture of R- and S-enantiomers], EFETOV-S-2 [R-enantiomer] and EFETOV-S-S-2 [S-enantiomer]. Zygaena attractants were made at Canterbury Christ Church University using a range of acetate compounds with known attraction to various genera as originally identified by Priesner et al. (1984). Fourteen Zygaenidae species from four genera belonging to Procridinae and Zygaeninae subfamilies were found: Rhagades Wallengren, 1863 (1 species), Adscita Retzius, 1783 (1 species), Jordanita Verity, 1946 (4 species), and Zygaena Fabricius, 1775 (8 species).Öğe Zygaenidae (Lepidoptera) of Thrace Region of Turkey(Pensoft Publ, 2018) Cengiz, Feza Can; Efetov, Konstantin A.; Kaya, Kamuran; Kucherenko, Elena E.; Okyar, Zuhal; Tarmann, Gerhard M.The Zygaenidae fauna of the Thrace Region (European Turkey) was studied by using attractant traps as well as by netting specimens in biotopes. Esters of 2-dodecenoic acid and stereoisomers of 2-butanol were used as sex attractants. Sixteen Zygaenidae species from five genera were found: Theresimima Strand, 1917 (1 species), Rhagades Wallengren, 1863 (2 species), Adscita Retzius, 1783 (3 species), Jordanita Verity, 1946 (4 species), and Zygaena Fabricius, 1775 (6 species). Rhagades (Rhagades) pruni (Denis & Schiffermuller, 1775) and Jordanita (Jordanita) globulariae (Hubner, 1793) were found as new for Turkey. The two species of the same genus Rh. (Rh.) pruni and Rh. (Wiegelia) amasina (Herrich-Schaffer, 1851) were discovered in proximity to each other in different localities of the same Province Tekirdag.
