Öğe Analysis of resiliency levels of disabled individuals doing sports according to some variables(2013) Soyer, Fikret; Gülle, Mahmut; Mızrak, Orcan; Zengin, Serkan; Kaya, ErdiBu araştırmanın amacı; spor yapan bedensel engelli bireylerin yılmazlık düzeylerinin bazı değişkenler açısından farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığının incelenmesidir. Medeni durum, cinsiyet düzeyleri açısından ise herhangi bir anlamlık bulgulanamamıştır.Öğe Assessment of the relationship between the engagement in leisure time and academic motivation among the students of faculty of education(2014) Sarı, İhsan; Çetin, Mehmet Çağrı; Kaya, Erdi; Gülle, Mahmut; Kahramanoğlu, Recephe aim of the study was to determine the relationship between leisure time motivation and academic motivation among the students who studied at the Faculty of Education of Mustafa Kemal University. 260 students (Xyears: 21.29±2.11) constituted the sample of the study. For the analyses of the data; Leisure Motivation Scale and Academic Motivation Scale were employed. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation test and regression analysis. According to the findings of the study; it was explored that academic motivation was significantly correlated with the leisure motivation scale’s subscales of intrinsic motivation toward knowledge and accomplishment (r=0.360), experience stimulation (r=0.219) and introjected and identified regulations (r=0.212; p<0.05). Also; the leisure motivation scale’s subscales of motivation toward knowledge and accomplishment accounted for 13% of academic motivation. In light of these findings; it may be concluded that there was a correlation between academic motivation and intrinsic motivation (toward knowledge and accomplishment, and experience stimulation) and more autonomous types of extrinsic motivation (introjected and identified regulations). As a result of the regression analysis; engagement in leisure time activities for knowledge and accomplishment significantly accounted for academic motivation. In sum; it may be interpreted that participation in leisure time activities with more intrinsic reasons may yield more positive results.Öğe Examination of trait anxiety levels of physical education and sports students (Ibrahim Cecen University case)(Elsevier Science Bv, 2014) Kaya, Erdi; Sari, Ihsan; Tolukan, Ersan; Gulle, MahmutThis study aims to analyze the trait anxiety levels of physical education and sports students and to compare them in terms of certain variables (gender, doing sports regularly and being a registered athlete). The research population is composed of students studying in the School of Physical Education and Sports, Agri Ibrahim Cecen University; while the sample group consists of 209 students studying in the Departments of Physical Education and Sports Teaching (n=147) and Coaching Education (n=62). State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, which was developed by Spielberger et al. (1970) and adapted to Turkish by Otter and Le Compte (1983), and certain questions concerning demographic characteristics were used to achieve the research objectives. SPSS 17.0 software package was used for data analysis. Percentage frequency analysis was used for data analysis and t-test was used for independent groups. Significance level was set at 0.05. Considering the findings, no statistically significant difference was found between the trait anxiety levels of students in terms of their gender and status of doing sports regularly (p<0.05). The information form developed by the researcher in this research and the Leadership Styles and Innovation Approach inventory developed by Eysenck and Eysenck in 1975 and adapted to Turkish by Bayram in 2013 were used [3]. The sample of the study consists of 232 male and 33 female academicians from Mustafa Kemal University working in different branches of education selected by using random sampling method. Non-parametric analysis methods have been preferred because of the distributions of the obtained data. Participants' gender, marital status, regular sports activities, academic title, administrative duties and occupational seniority were found to have significant differences in terms of scale sub-dimensions in terms of all demographic values. When looking at the correlation values of the study, it is also found that there are significant relationships among the sub-dimensions. © 2018 by authors, all rights reserved.
