Özet
In this chapter, the effects of climate changes, in particular, on wheat yield and on the sustainability of food security in Turkey will be discussed. Climate change is one of the major problem affecting the growth and development of plants in agricultural areas. There are many stress factors (drought, temperature, flood, etc.) that arise due to this problem. Due to these stress factors mentioned, the yield of wheat in the world and Turkey is affected negatively by the day. Growth and productivity loss due to climate change,1. Root and shoot development in wheat 2. Changes in photosynthetic pigments 3. Changes in antioxidant enzymes in seedlings 4. Changes in various biochemical parameters 5. Changes in the expression of some genes depending on the stress will be explained with the main headings. © 2020 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
