Human brucellosis is still endemic in our country and many regions of the world. Intensity of the disease ise remarkable, especially in some provinces in the southeastern and eastern parts of Anatolia. New rapid diagnostic methods are required to take the result as soon as possible. The accurate diagnosis of chronic brucellosis and its complications, monitoring, and treatment are important. Most importantly, inspection and quality control of the milk and the milk products should be performed as trusthworthy and healthy, since they have primary role in transmission of the disease. © 2012 OMU.en_US
