Group A streptococcus (GAS) infections are often associated with pharyngitis, skin and soft tissue infection, but may have a variety of presentations that can lead to bacteremia, necrotizing fasciitis, and Streptococcal Toxic Shock Syndrome (STSS). Invasive GAS infections are seen most commonly in infancy and if they are not managed well, mortality is high. Therefore, they should be immediately diagnosed and treated successfully. In this study, it was aimed to report a patient admitted to our hospital complaining of high fever and rash, followed with an initial diagnosis of pneumonia and sepsis, and later diagnosed as invasive streptococcal infection. By presenting this case, we aimed to emphasize the wide range of GAS infections and their treatment properly.en_US
