Özet
Centaurea osmaniyensis Ilcim (Asteraceae) sp. nova is described and illustrated from Bahce District, Osmaniye Province, Turkey. The species belongs to sect. Cynaroides and morphologically closely resembles C. regia var. cynarocephala, but differs from it by the habit, petiolate leaves, stem and leaf indumentum, capitulum shape, phyllary length, appendage size, terminal spine length and pappus color. The seed and pollen micromorphology are presented, as well as the threat level is evaluated.
