Özet
Doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind turbine modelling is a well-known subject. However studies have tended to investigate the optimisation of each component of the system rather than evaluating the components as part of a larger or whole system. The controller loops segmentation methodology is proposed for all main electrical and mechanical components of a 4.5MW DFIG wind turbine considering the system as a whole. However, the application of this methodology to only electrical components of the DFIG is presented in this paper. The turbine aero-mechanical dynamics are neglected since these present a slower set of dynamics. By proposing the controller loops segmentation, the electrical interactions between the inner and outer loop controllers of the rotor-side converter (RSC) and the grid-side converter (GSC) are reduced. The verification of the methodology designed in this paper is achieved by the simulation results obtained from the software programme of PSCAD.
