Özet
Artvin has been one of the first stops of various peoples and cultures since earliest times, since it is located on the road from the Caucasus to Anatolia. Most of the surveys carried out so far have been directed to the Middle Ages of the region. As a result of the surveys carried out in Artvin and its districts in 2019 with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, centers that can shed light on the Bronze Age and nomadic culture of the region were identified. The survey in 2019 was carried out in the region covering centers, Arhavi-Demirkapn / Namazgah Rock Paintings, Yusufeli-Olgunlar Village Plateau Early Graves, Olgunlar (Hastaf) Castle and Cemetery Area, Halamet Castle and Alanbasi-Aslanli Cave. In the study, the presentation and evaluation of the centers in question were made in a scientific way and their connections with other Ancient and Medieval settlements in the same region were tried to be determined. In the study, the scientific introduction and evaluation of the Centers in question was made and their connections with other settlements were determined. In addition, it is aimed to understand the possible cultural connection between them by comparing the data obtained from these centers with the similar ones in the nearby cultural regions. Especially Demirkapi/Namazgah Rock Paintings are very important in terms of understanding the Eastern Anatolia-Caucasus and Central Asia connections.
