dc.description.abstract | This research was carried out on eight Sakiz ewes which were 2-3 years old. Calcium, bilirubin, oestradiol 17?, cortisol, insulin and glucose changes were examined in blood obtained from animals at gestation period (1 st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th months) and one month after parturation. Calcium levels were found higher in 2nd and 4th months of gestation than first month. Bilirubin level was lower in 3rd month than first month, following parturation it was found 3 times as much the mean value. On the other hand the value of oestrodiol 17? and cortisol, insulin and glucose values, which were found higher at 3rd and 4th and 5th months respectively were decreased after parturation. | en_US |
