Özet
Bu nitel çalışmanın amacı ilkokul öğrencilerinin COVID-19 sürecindeki eğitim deneyimlerini ve sürece ilişkin duygu-düşüncelerini derinlemesine incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmada durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Hatay ili Antakya ilçesinde ikamet eden 16 ilkokul öğrencisi ve 4 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama sürecinde araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ve gözlem protokolü kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tematik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri analizi sonucunda pandemi sürecinde örgün eğitim yapılmasının öğrencilerde kaygı ve endişe düzeyini arttırdığı, ilköğretim düzeyinde pandemiye yönelik okullarda alınan önlemlerin uygulanmasının güç olduğu, okullardaki fiziki koşulların mesafeli örgün eğitim yapmak için yetersiz olduğu, örgün eğitim öncesinde tecrübe edilen uzaktan eğitimin verimliliğinin düşük olduğu bulgularına rastlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda okullarda verilen rehberlik hizmetlerinin öğrencilerin iyi olma hali göz önünde bulundurularak verilmesi, okulların fiziki koşullarında iyileştirilmeye gidilmesi, tekrarlanması olası kriz anlarına yönelik çevrimiçi öğretim yöntem ve tekniklerinin geliştirilmesi ve teknolojik alt yapının iyileştirilmesi önerilmektedir. The purpose of this qualitative study is to examine the educational experiences of primary school students in the COVID-19 process and their feelings and thoughts about the process. For this purpose, case study design was used. The study group of the research consists of 16 primary school students and 4 classroom teachers residing in Hatay province Antakya district. In the data collection process, semi-structured interview form and observation protocol developed by the researcher were used. Thematic analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the data analysis, it was found that formal education during the pandemic process increased the level of anxiety and anxiety in students, it was difficult to implement the measures taken in schools for the pandemic at primary education level, the physical conditions in schools were insufficient to conduct distance formal education, and the efficiency of distance education experienced before formal education was low. In this context, it is suggested that the guidance services given in schools should be given considering the well-being of the students, improvement in the physical conditions of the schools, development of online teaching methods and techniques for possible repetitive crisis moments, and improvement of the technological infrastructure.
