| dc.description.abstract | Hatay'da otopsisi yapılan bir Arap Bülbülünün (Pycnonotus xanthopygos) göğüs boşluğundan 8 dişi ve 5 erkek olmak üzere toplam 13 adet nematod toplanmıştır. Parazit laktofenolde şeffaflandırıldıktan sonra mikroskop altında incelenmiş ve önemli kısımların ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Bulunan parazitler Filariidae ailesinden Diplotriaeninae alt ailesinden Diplotriaena monticolae Yamaguty, 1935 (Fam: Filariidae) olarak teşhis edilmişlerdir. Bu olgu Türkiye'de bülbüllerde tespit edilen ilk bulgu olması nedeniyle önemlidir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In Hatay, 13 nematodes (8 ♀ and 5 ♂) were observed in the thoracic cavity of a white-spectacled bulbul (Pycnonotus xanthopygos). The parasites were cleared with lactophenol and then investigated under the light microscopy and important morphological parts of parasites were measured. The parasites were identified as Diplotriaena monticola Yamaguty, 1935 (Fam.: Filariidae) under the subfamily of Diplotriaeninae. It is important because this case is the first report of this infection in a white-spectacled bulbul in Turkey. | en_US |
