dc.description.abstractGirişimcilik ve onun alt başlığı olan 'mülteci girişimciliği' kavramlarının ekonomik ve sosyal-kültürel açıdan ülkelere etkisi aşikârdır. Uluslararası literatürde mülteci girişimciliği konusu çok az incelenmiş, Türkiye'de ise bakir bir konu olup Suriye mülteci girişimciliği ise pek incelenmemiştir. Bu kapsamda Suriye'de 2011 yılından itibaren yaşanan iç karışıklık sonucu Türkiye'ye gelen yaklaşık üç milyonu aşkın yakın mültecinin girişimcilik faaliyetleri oluşumlarının ve itme-çekme modeli çerçevesinde incelenmesi çalışmanın ana amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 2016 yılında Suriye sınırına yakın olan Hatay, Gaziantep, Mersin illerinde ve ayrıca çekim gücüne sahip İstanbul'da bulunan toplam 30 'kentsel girişimci' ile yüz yüze derinlemesine mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örneklem, Ticaret ve Sanayi odalarından elde edilen 'kayıtlı' Suriyeli Mülteci Girişimci sayılarından üretilmiştir. 'Ulaşılabilen girişimcilere' yarı yapılandırılmış sorular tercüman eşliğinde sorulmuştur. Sahadan elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde Suriyeli girişimcilerin yaşadıkları ayırımcılık, dil problemleri, hukuki problemler, kaynaklara erişimdeki kısıtlar, işsizlik, düşük ücret gibi sosyo-kültürel sorunlar nedeniyle girişimciliği zorunluluktan dolayı seçtikleri görülmüştür. Buna karşın özellikle girişimcilik tecrübesi olanlarda bu sorunları fırsata dönüştürme istekliliğinin de girişimcilerde var olduğu saptanmıştıren_US
dc.description.abstractThe effects of the concept of entrepreneurship and its subtitle 'refugee entrepreneurship' are obvious in terms of economic and social-cultural contexts. The subject of refugee entrepreneurship has been studied very little in the international literature; also, it is virgin in Turkey. In particular, studies of Syrian refugee entrepreneurship have not been investigated at the worldwide. The results of the internal turmoil in Syria occurred since 2011, the above three million peoples have immigrated to Turkey, and some of them have become entrepreneur. In this context, the main purpose of this study explores the activities and the formation of Syrian refugee entrepreneurs in terms of opportunities and necessities. In accordance with this purpose face to face deep interviews were conducted with 30 'urban entrepreneurs' in total in Hatay, Gaziantep, Mersin, where are close to the Syrian border, also in Istanbul, where has the power of attraction for entrepreneurs, in 2016. The Sampling was generated from the numbers of 'registered' Syrian Refugee Entrepreneurs obtained from Chambers of Industry and Commerce. Entrepreneurs, who can be reached, have been asked the semi-structured questions with an interpreter. Obtained from the survey, it has been seen that Syrian Refugee Entrepreneurs have chosen entrepreneurship as necessities because of socio-cultural problems such as discrimination, language barriers, and legal problems, restrictions on access to resources, unemployment, and low wages. On the other hand, it has been determined that some entrepreneurs, who have entrepreneurial background particularly, are willing to convert those problems to opportunity.en_US
