dc.description.abstractTürkiye'nin en güney ucundaki Yayladağı ilçesi (Hatay), deniz seviyesinden 1729 metreye kadar değişik yükselti kuşaklarının görüldüğü, çeşitli jeomorfolojik birimlerden oluşan bir araziye sahiptir. İlçede arazi kullanımının şekillenmesinde fiziki faktörlerin özellikle de jeomorfolojik birimlerin önemli bir etkisi vardır.Bu çalışmada Yayladağı ilçesinde jeomorfolojik birimlerin arazi kullanımı açısından sunduğu imkanlar ve sınırlılıklar ortaya konulmuş, tespit edilen sorunlara yönelik sürdürülebilir arazi kullanım modelleri çerçevesinde çözüm önerileri getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde konu ile ilgili genel bilgilere yer verilerek kuramsal ve kavramsal çerçeve açıklanmıştır. İkinci bölümde ilçede arazi kullanımı üzerinde etkisi bulunan genel fiziki coğrafya özellikleri açıklanmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde çalışma alanındaki jeomorfolojik birimlerin özellikleri açıklanarak bunlar üzerindeki mevcut arazi kullanım durumu ortaya konulmuştur. Bu arazi kullanımının ortaya çıkmasında jeomorfolojik birimlerin etkisi açıklanmıştır.Sonuçta çeşitli sınırlılıkları bulunan ilçenin mevcut potansiyelinin en iyi şekilde değerlendirilmesi ve sürdürülebilir bir arazi kullanımı oluşturulabilmesi için jeomorfolojik birimlere uygun iyi bir planlama yapılmasının önemi ve gerekliliği ifade edilmiştir.ANAHTAR KELİMELERJeomorfoloji, Arazi Kullanımı, Arazi Planlaması, Yayladağıen_US
dc.description.abstractYayladağı town, which is in the southest part of Turkey and has different altitudes from sea level to 1729 meters,is a town that has a land with different geomorphological units. The physical factors, especially the geomorphological units has a very important effect on the land usage at the town.In this study, the opportunities and the limitednesses of the geomorphological units to the land usage at Yayladağı town has been covered and tried to offer solution advisories to the established problems in the frame of sustainable land usage.In the first part of the study, general information about the subject has been given and theoretical and cognitive frames were explained. In the second part, the general physical geographical features which has an effect on the land usage in town has been explained. In the third part, the characteristic of the geomorphological units in the study area and the land usage on them has been explained. The effects of the geomorphological units on the appearence of this land usage has been explained.At the end, we evaluated the existing limited potential of the town and exhibited the importance of appropriate planning of the land usage in order to use the existing potential ideally and with sustainable land usage.KEY WORDSGeomorphology, Land Usage, Land Planning, Yayladağı,en_US
