Abstract
This study was carried out to determine the flora of Hatay Dağdüzü village and its surroundings. The study area is located at the C6 grid according to the gridsystem used in the Flora of Turkey. The study area is located in the Mediterranean Region and the elevation is 1.700 m. As a result of the examination of 500 plant specimens collected from the research area, between 2014-2016, 308 species belong to 71 families and 210 genera were determined. The largest families according to taxa numbers are as follows: Asteraceae (37 taxa; % 12,01), Fabaceae (33 taxa; % 10.71), Lamiaceae (29 taxa; % 9,41), Poaceae (18 taxa; % 5,84). According to the number of taxa they contain, the biggest genera are: Hypericum with 7 taxa, Ophrys with 7 taxa, Centaurea with 5 taxa, Euphorbia with 5 taxa, Trifolium with 5 taxa, Salvia with 5 taxa, Galium with 5 taxa. The disturibution of plant taxa according to phytogeographical regions are as follows: The Mediterranean elements, 110 taxa (% 35,71), Euro-Siberian elements, 16 taxa (% 5,19), Irano-Turanian elements, 13 taxa (% 4,22), widespread and unkown, 169 taxa (% 54,87). The endemic taxa are 8 and the endemism rate is % 2,67. Conservation statues of 12 endemic and rare taxa are as follows: 9 taxa VU (vulnerable), 3 taxa LR (lower risk). Distribution of families and distribution by phytogeographical regions are similar to other flora studies in Hatay.
