dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, tam entegre bir çelik fabrikasında bulunan işletme üniteleri ve üretim safhaları genel hatlarıyla tanıtılacaktır. Çelik üretiminde geçmişten günümüze kadar kullanılan yöntemler, bu yöntemler içerisinde en gelişmiş ve dünyada en çok kullanılan yöntem olan Bazik Oksijen Fırınınlarında (BOF) çelik üretim prosesi incelenecektir. Bazik Oksijen Fırınlarında üretilen çeliğin kalitesine etki eden faktörler detaylı olarak ele alınacaktır.Sıvı ham demir ve çelik üretiminin ilk safhası olan sinterleme prosesi genel hatlarıyla incelenecek ve prosesin safhaları ve bu safhalarda gerçekleşen kimyasal ve mekanik olaylar açıklanacaktır. Ayrıca bu süreçte, sinterin kalitesine etkileyen parametreler ve bu parametlerin yüksek fırın ve konverterdeki etkileri araştırılacaktır.Demir ve Çelik üretiminde dünyada ve Türkiye `de yaşanan gelişmeler ve bu gelişim süreci içerisinde yer alan tam entegre bir çelik fabrikasında uygulanan yatırım projeleri ve modernizasyonlardan örnekler verilecektir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this work, the process units of a steel-production company will be introduced in a broad sense, the different methods of steel production and the most technological and popular method of steel production, i.e. oxygen blast furnace, will be discussed in detail.The sinter process, which is the first step of producing steel, will be introduced. The chemical and mechanical reactions that occure during this process will be explained. And how this sinter process affects the quality of the steel and the parameters that affect the quality of sinter will be discussed.Recent developments in the iron and steel production in the world and in Turkey will be evaluated and some examples of recent modernizations will be given.en_US
