Özet
Bu çalışmada Covid-19 pandemi süreciyle birlikte uygulanmaya başlayan uzaktan eğitim faaliyetlerine yönelik birleştirilmiş sınıflarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla Mardin ili Derik İlçesi'nde birleştirilmiş sınıflarda görev yapan 43 sınıf öğretmeninin görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan durum çalışması ile gerçekleştirilen araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda birleştirilmiş sınıflarda görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin uzaktan eğitim sürecinde öğrencilerin bilgisayar, tablet, telefon ve internet alt yapısına sahip olmamaları nedeniyle derse katılımlarının sağlanamaması, EBA ve zoom gibi uygulamaları kullanamamaları ve velilerin ilgisiz olmaları nedeniyle çocukların uzaktan eğitim sürecine aktif katılımlarının sağlanamaması gibi sorunlarla karşılaştıkları; öğrenci sayısı, sınıf düzeyi ve öğrenci seviyelerine göre sınıf grupları oluşturulmasına karşın öğrenciyle duygusal bağın kurulamaması ve etkili iletişim sürecinin sağlanmasında uzaktan eğitimin yeterli olamaması gibi durumların verimliliği düşürdüğü; öğrencilerin bilgisayar, tablet ve telefon gibi teknolojik ihtiyaçlarının karşılanması ve internet altyapısının köylerde oluşturulması ile uzaktan eğitimin birleştirilmiş sınıflarda kullanılabileceğini düşündükleri belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenler ayrıca pandemi sürecinde okullara velilerin giriş-çıkışlarını kısıtladıklarını; velilerin bu durumu anlayışla karşıladıklarını; okul ve sınıflarda temizlik ve hijyen koşullarının sağlanmaya çalışıldığını, sınıf ve koridorlara virüsten korunma yollarına ilişkin bilgilendirici afişlerin asıldığını; veli ve öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğunun pandemi sürecinde alınan önlemlere uyduklarını ifade etmişlerdir.
In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of teachers working in multigrade school for distance education activities that started to be implemented with the Covid-19 pandemic process. For this purpose, the opinions of 43 classroom teachers working in multigrade school in Derik District of Mardin province were consulted. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool in the research conducted with case study, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The data obtained within the scope of the research were analyzed with the content analysis method. As a result of the research, it was determined that the classroom teachers working in the multi-grade classrooms faced problems such as not being able to participate in the lesson due to the lack of computer, tablet, phone and internet infrastructure of the students during the distance education process, not being able to use applications such as EBA and zoom, and not ensuring the active participation of the children in the distance education process due to the indifference of the parents; Although class groups are formed according to the number of students, class level and student levels, situations such as the inability to establish an emotional bond with the student and the inability of distance education to provide an effective communication process reduce productivity; It has been determined that students think that distance education can be used in multigrade school by meeting the technological needs of students such as computers, tablets and telephones and establishing the internet infrastructure in the villages. Teachers also stated that they restricted the entrance and exit of parents to schools during the pandemic process; that the parents understand this situation; that cleanliness and hygiene conditions are being ensured in schools and classrooms, informative posters on ways to protect against viruses are hung in classrooms and corridors; The majority of parents and students stated that they comply with the measures taken during the pandemic process.
