| dc.description.abstract | Letoon’a ovadan ulaşan yol, günümüzde yerleşimin bu yöndeki ilk büyük yapı kalıntısı olan tiyatro yakınından geçerek merkeze yönlenir. Tiyatronun yaslandığı, Tümtüm Tepe’nin batı kayalık yamacı yerleşim tesislerinin bulunduğu düzlüğün doğu yanı sıra doğal bir set oluşturur. Yamaç, kuzeyden güneye yerleşim planı dolayısıyla, onu oluşturan münferit binalarla ilişkili bir tasarımla, adım adım farklı işlevlerle biçimlendirilerek kullanılmış kesitler sunarak uzanır. Letoon araştırmaları kapsamında, tepede gerçekleştirilen incelemeler, batı yamacın tiyatrodan kente doğru uzanan uç kesiminde yer yer izlenen bazı duvar kalıntılarının teraslamaya dönük yapısal özellikler göstermesi nedeniyle yerleşim dokusu adına potansiyel veriler sunabileceği düşüncesini doğurdu; sonuçta 2015 yılından itibaren bu alanda çeşitli kazı çalışmaları yürütülmeye başlandı. Söz konusu çalışmalarda geride bırakılan dört sezonun ardından buluntu yoğunluğunu oluşturan, Hellenistik Dönem’e, ait seramikler bu makalenin konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Seramiklerin tepeden akıntı ile gelen toprak içerisinden ele geçen belirsiz buluntu durumu dolayısıyla teras duvarı ve Geç Antik Dönem mekânları ile bağlamlarının zayıf görülmesine karşın, geniş zaman aralığına tarihlenen, çeşitli formlarda zengin bir grup oluşturması nedeniyle ayrı bir çalışma konusu olarak bu makale ile değerlendirilmesi uygun görülmüştür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Hellenistik Dönem’deki, Letoon seramik repertuarına ışık tutmaktır. Yapılan bu çalışmada, Hellenistik Dönem’e ait, Batı Anadolu yerel üretimlerinin yoğun olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Özellikle içlerinde Ephesos, üretimi seramiklerin varlığı dikkat çekmektedir. Hellenistik Dönem seramikleri içerisinde ele geçen en yoğun grup; kabartmalı kalıp yapımı kâselerdir. İkinci yoğunluğa sahip gruplar ise; Batı Anadolu üretimi ekhinus kâseler ile içe dönük dudak profilli tabaklardır. Lykia Bölgesi’deki Hellenistik Dönem’deki seramik ticareti ve kentler arasındaki ilişkiler, sistemli kazı ve seramik çalışmalarının yürütüldüğü diğer kentlerle paralellik göstermektedir. Bu sonuçlar ışığında, ticarete ve kentler arasındaki ilişkilere bir bakış sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The road reaching to Letoon from the plain, passes next to the theatre which is the first large scale construction relic in this direction we have today, and heads towards to the center. The western rocky slope of Tümtüm Hill where the theatre leans against, forms a natural set along the east side of plain where the residential area is located. The slope extends from north to south in a settlement plan that offers different sections which serve to various functions and formed step by step releated to a general design that is consisted of individual buildings. Under the light of the investigations carried out on the hill in the context of Letoon research, it has been observed that the some of the wall remains at the edge of the western slope from the theater to the city are partly showing structural characteristics of terracing. Therefore various excavations have been carried out in this area, since 2015. A dense part of ceramics belonging to the chronology from the Hellenistic Period and left behind in above mentioned studies is the subject of this article after four seasons. Although the conceptual connection of the ceramics derived from the land slide residues, to the terrace walls or the Late Antique Site is weak on the basis of the unclear finding statue, their evaluation with-in this article as a seperate study topic was deemed appropriate in regard to their origination of a rich group of various forms dated to a wide time interval. The aim of this study is to shed light on the Letoon ceramic repertoire, in the Hellenistic Period. It is reached to a conclusion that The Western Anatolia Local Production was intensed in the Hellenistic Period especially Ephesos, ceramics are remarkable. The most intense group in the Hellenistic Period ceramics is the embossed and moulded bowls. Second intense group includes both Anatolian Production of echinus bowls and rolled rim plates. The ceramic trade in the Hellenistic Period in the Lycian Region and the relations between the cities are in parallel with the cities where systematic excavations and ceramic studies are carried out. In line with these results, it has been tried to provide an overview of trade and relations between cities. | en_US |
