This study investigating the relationships between different body measurements or body weight and fattening or lactation characteristics was conducted in Kilis goats reared Kilis province. The animal material of the study was consisted of 100 head Kilis goats and their kids. At the end of the study, it was determined that Kilis goats had a twinning rate of 58% and they were medium-sized animals with daily gain of 198.9 ± 7.20 g at fattening. It was also determined that they had 200.0 ± 9.32 to 213.1 ± 6.05 liters of milk yield in 251.4 ± 1.99 to 256.4 ± 8.27 days of lactation. In addition, significant correlations were found between height of rump before fattening and daily live weight gain in kids of these animals (P <0.05). In this study, positive and significant correlations were found between lactation milk yield and body weight, body length, chest width at 5% significance level and between lactation milk yield and chest circumference at 1% significance level. Another finding in the study was positive and significant (P <0.01) relationships between lactation milk yield and udder measurements.
