dc.description.abstractThe chiral squaramide catalysts (8-15) were synthesized, and their catalytic efficiency in the enantioselective conjugate addition of pyrazolones to nitroalkenes was described. This protocol provides excellent chemical yields (up to 93%) of chiral 5-methyl-4-(2-nitro-1-arylethyl)pyrazol-3-ol derivatives with high enantioselectivities (up to 97% ee).en_US
