Aim: This descriptive research was performed with the aim of determining the working quality and related influencing factors for the nurses who work at The Public Hospital. Material and Methods: It was planned to reach all of the nurses who accept to participate in the study without any sample selection (N=360). The study was conducted with 284 nurses who agree to participate in the study accordingly. The research data were collected with the “Personal Information Form” and “Quality of Nursing Work Life ScaleQNWLS”. The data were evaluated through Independent Sample t test, One-Way ANOVA, and Kruskal Wallis analysis at SPSS-21 statistics pocket program as well as descriptive statistics. Results: It has been found that most of the participants were “female” (81.7%), 45.8% was belong to the age group of 25-38, 56% had bachelor’s degree and a great majority ( 91.2%) were working as clinic nurse. The QNWLS Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the nurses was found to be 0.75 and total mean score for the scale was determined to be at a good level (103.21±12.82). It has been determined that the descriptive features of nurses including age group, working department, experience and shift type affected the QNWLS subscales and there was a statistical significant difference between them (p<0.05). Conclusion: It has been determined that the factors of age group, working department, experience and shift type, choosing the working department willingly, working in a related department with their field of expertise and the opinion of fee sufficiency were effective on the working life quality. Based on these results, it may be recommended to review the laws and practices in order to improve the quality of work and to support nurses and to establish and implement standards that can improve nurses' job satisfaction. In addition, the physical working conditions of nurses should be reviewed and autonomy, career and promotion opportunities should be given.
