dc.description.abstractGiriş ve Amaç: Gömülü alt yirmi yaş diş çekimi sonrası farmakolojik etkisi olmayan alternatif uygulamaların postoperatif dönemdeki komplikasyon şiddetini azaltma etkinliklerini araştırmak ve süreçteki yaşam kalitesine etkisini değerlendirmek hedeflenmiştir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya; 18-35 yaş aralığında, sistemik rahatsızlığı olmayan hastalar dahil edildi. Farklı hastalardan, aynı sayıda üç grup oluşturuldu: 2 çalışma grubu ve bir kontrol grubu. Kontrol grubundan bir hasta, takip randevularına gelmediği için çalışma dışı bırakıldı ve toplamda 44 hasta ile çalışma tamamlandı. Çalışma gruplarından; elastik bandaj grubunda hastalara cerrahi işlem sonrası çekim yapılan taraftaki bölgeye bandaj uygulandı ve uygulama 3. gün sonlandırıldı. Trombositten Zengin Fibrin (TZF) grubunda; çekim kavitesine eş zamanlı lokal TZF yerleştirildi. Kontrol grubunda; ek bir işlem yapılmadı. Her hastada cerrahi operasyon öncesi aynı gün ve operasyon sonrası 3. gün ile 7. gün araştırılmak istenen parametrelerin ölçümleri yapıldı. Ödem değerlendirmesi için antropometrik noktalarla ölçümler yapıldı. Ağrı değerlendirmesi, NRS ağrı skalası kullanılarak gerçekleştirildi. Sürecin yaşam kalitesine etkisini, Ağız ve Diş Sağlığının Etki Profili-14 (OHIP-14) formu vasıtasıyla değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Grupların 3. gün NRS skorları ve OHIP-14 skorları verilerine göre; TZF grubundaki veriler kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı derecede düşük bulunmuştur. Diğer gruplar arasında ise anlamlı bir fark gözlemlenmemiştir. Grupların 3. gün ödem skorları verilerine göre; elastik bandaj grubunun verileri kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı derecede düşük bulunurken, diğer gruplar arasında anlamlı bir fark gözlemlenmemiştir. Ancak iki çalışma grubunda da tüm parametrelerde sayısal veriler 3. gününde kontrol grubuna göre düşük bulunmuştur; bu fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildir. 7. gününde ise üç parametre için gruplar arasında anlamlı bir fark gözlemlenmemiştir. Sonuç: Çalışma gruplarında arasında anlamlı bir farklılık gözlemlenmedi. TZF grubunda ağrı ve yaşam kalitesine etkisi yönünden, elastik bandaj grubunda ise ödem açısından kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı olumlu sonuçlar elde edildi. Tüm parametrelerin skorlarının çalışma gruplarında kontrol grubuna göre düşük bulunması, iki müdahalenin de postoperatif süreçte olumlu etkilere sahip olduğunu göstermektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIntroduction and Aim: The aim is to investigate the effectiveness of non-pharmacological alternative interventions in reducing the severity of complications during the postoperative period following the extraction of impacted lower wisdom teeth and to evaluate their impact on the quality of life during the process. Materials and Methods: The study included patients aged 18-35 without systemic illnesses. Three groups were formed with an equal number of participants: 2 experimental groups and 1 control group. One participant from the control group was excluded from the study due to missing follow-up appointments, resulting in a total of 44 participants. In the experimental groups, a bandage was applied to the surgical site on the side of the extraction for patients in the elastic bandage group, and the application was terminated on the 3rd day. In the Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) group, local PRF was simultaneously placed in the extraction socket. No additional procedure was performed in the control group. Measurements of the parameters of interest were taken on the same day as the surgical operation and on the 3rd and 7th days postoperatively. Anthropometric measurements were performed for edema assessment. Pain assessment was conducted using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). The impact on the quality of life during the process was evaluated using the Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP-14) form. Results: According to the 3rd-day NRS scores and OHIP-14 scores, the data from the PRF group were significantly lower compared to the control group. No significant difference was observed between the other groups. Regarding the 3rd-day edema scores, the data for the elastic bandage group were significantly lower than the control group, while no significant difference was observed between the other groups. However, numerical data for all parameters in both experimental groups were lower than the control group on the 3rd day; this difference was not statistically significant. On the 7th day, no significant difference was observed between the groups for three parameters. Conclusion: No significant difference was observed among the study groups. Positive significant results were obtained for pain and quality of life in the PRF group and for edema in the elastic bandage group compared to the control group. The lower scores for all parameters in the experimental groups compared to the control group indicate the positive effects of both interventions during the postoperative period.en_US
