Özet
Brusellozis ülkemizde endemik görülen önemli bir enfeksiyon hastalığıdır. Hastalık hayvanlardan insanlara bulaşan, ateş, halsizlik, yorgunluk, grip benzeri bulgular, eklem, kas ve sırt ağrıları ve baş ağrısı gibi semptomlarla seyreden sistemik bir hastalıkdır. Bu yazıda, epilepsi tanısı ile takip edilen 15 yaşında kız hasta, antiepileptik tedavisi kesilme sürecinde iken, baş ağrısı semptomlarının olması ve tetkikler sonucunda bruselloz tanısı alması nedeniyle sunuldu. Baş ağrısı semptomuyla başvuran epilepsili hastalarda brusellozun akılda tutulması gerektiğini vurgulamak için bu olguyu sunmayı uygun gördük.
Brucellosis is an important infectious disease seen as endemic in our country. It is transmitted from animals to humans and concerning multisystem with the symptoms such as fever, weakness, fatigue, flu- like finding, joint, muscle and back pain, and headache. In this case, a 15 years old a girl, being followed-up with epilepsy, was referred with headache that was turned out to be brucellosis at the end of investigation while antiepileptic drugs were gradually discontinued. We present this case to accentuate that Brucellosis should be taken into consideration in case of an epileptic patient comes across with headache.
