| dc.description.abstract | İnsan davranışlarının belirlenmesinde sosyal, kültürel değerlerin yanı sıra ekonomik koşulların da oldukça fazla önem arz etmesi, suç ve ekonominin belirleyenleri arasındaki ilişkiyi inceleyen çalışmaların artmasına sebep olmuştur. Çalışmada gelir dağılımı ve suç arasındaki ilişki Türkiye açısından ele alınmaktadır. Gelir dağılımı ülkenin ekonomik, siyasal ve sosyal yapısı hakkında bilgi veren önemli göstergelerden biridir. Gelir dağılımının adaletsiz olduğu az gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerde, refah seviyesinin düşük ve işsizliğin yoğun olmasıyla suçların adam öldürme, yaralama, saldırı suçlarında artış meydana getirdiği görülmektedir. Gelir dağılımının eşit olduğu genelde refah seviyesi yüksek gelişmiş ülkelerde ise suç türlerinde farklılıklar olmaktadır. Ekonomi ve suç ilişkisini konu alan daha önceki çalışmalara bakıldığında daha çok işsizlik olgusunun suç ile ilişkisinin araştırıldığı görülmektedir. Ayrıca suçun belirleyicisi anlamında işsizliğin yanı sıra yoksulluk, görece yoksunluk, gelir seviyesi gibi değişkenlerin ilişkileri de çalışılmış olmasına rağmen gelir dağılımı konusu ele alınmamıştır. Bu konuda çalışmanın literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Gelir dağılımında eşitliğin ne derecede sağlandığının suç üzerindeki etkisinin oldukça önem arz ettiği ve çalışma bulguları ışığında öngörülecek sosyal politikalarla gelir dağılımının müdahalelerle iyileştirilmesinin toplam suç üzerinde azaltıcı etkiye sahip olması öngörülmektedir. Ampirik bir yaklaşımla hazırlanan çalışmamızda 1990-2013 yıllarına ait veriler ve Türkiye için zaman serisi analiz yöntemi uygulanmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The importance of social and cultural values as well as economic conditions in determining human behaviors has led to an increase in studies investigating the relationship between crime and determinants of the company. In the study, the relationship between income distribution and crime are dealt with in terms of Turkey. Income distribution is one of the important indicators providing information about the economic, political and social structure of the country. In the less developed and developing countries, where income distribution is unjust, welfare level is low and unemployment is intense, it is seen that the crimes create an increase in crimes of manslaughter, wounding and assault. In countries where income distribution is equal and welfare is high, there are differences in crime types. When the previous studies on the relationship between economy and crime are examined, it is seen that mostly the relationship between the phenomenon of unemployment and crime is investigated. In addition, although the relationship between variables such as poverty, relative deprivation, income level has been studied in terms of the determinent of the crime, income distribution has not been dealt with. This study is thought to contribute to the literature. It is foreseen that the effect of equality in income distribution on crime is of great importance and improvement of income distrubution through interventions through social policies to be foreseen in the light of the study finding will have a reducing effect on the total crime. Study prepared by an empirical approach to Turkey 1990-2013 the years of time series analysis method was applied. | en_US |
