Özet
Bu olgunun materyalini anoreksi, halsizlik, kusma, polidipsi, poliüri, karın altı ve ekstremitelerde peteşi ve melana bulguları olan 4 yaşında, erkek Golden Retriver bir köpek oluşturdu. Anemnezde hastanın kene enfeksiyonuna maruz /çaldıktan sonra, halsizlik, ateş, kilo kaybı, çabuk yorulma, epistakzis şikayetleri ile bir veteriner polikliniğine götürüldüğü, burada E. canis test kiti ile erlikiozis tanısı konulduğu ve hastaya altı hafta süreyle 5mg/kg/gün dozda doksisiklin verildiği, sağaltım durdurulduktan dört hafta sonra yeniden epistakzis, letarji, kusma, aşın kilo kaybı ve genel durumda bozulma olduğu ve üç hafta süreyle sıvı sağaltımı uygulandığı öğrenildi. Hastaya A. Ü. Veteriner Fakültesi İç Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı Kliniğine getirildiğinde klinik, laboratuar ve ultrasonografik bulgulara dayanılarak kronik erlikiozis 'e bağlı kronik renal yetmezlik tanısı konuldu.
A 4 year-old male Golden Retriever with a history of anorexia, weakness, vomiting, weight loss, polydipsia, polyuria, melena and petechies on the ventral abdomen and extremities was included in the present case. At the anamnesis, as being informed after being exposed to tick infection the present case was referred to a veterinary polyclinic with weakness, fever, weight loss, exercise intolerance, epistaxis, and a diagnosis of ehrlichiosis with E.canis test kit was made and had received doxycycline at a dosage of 5 mg/kg/day, therapy was continued six week. After 4 weeks of therapy epistaxis, lethargy and vomiting severe weight lose and disorder in general condition, was reoccurred and again received during 3 weeks fluid therapy. A diagnosis of chronic renal failure associated with chronic ehrlichiosis was made according to the clinical, laboratory and ultrasonographic signs when referred to the University of Ankara, Faculty of Veterinary, and department of internal medicine.
