| dc.description.abstract | Günümüzde haber miktarının ve kaynaklarının yoğunluğu ile bilgiyi sunmanın önemi giderek artmıştır. Bilgi kalabalığı; bireyi doğru, kolay ve anlaşılır olanı seçmeye zorlamaktadır. Verileri sunan gazeteci ve tasarımcıların ortak hedefi, okuru uzaklaştırmadan haberi gösterebilmek ve okutabilmektir. İletişim sürecinde bilginin kodlanarak iletilmesi ve okur tarafından kod açımının yapılabilmesi önemlidir. Bu tez çalışması, basında bilginin ve haberin bir tasarım şekli olan infografiğin; illüstrasyon, fotoğraf, harita ve diğer grafik unsurları bir arada organize ederek kullanmasını; tarihsel, teorik ve pratik açılardan inceler. Tasarımdan okura ulaşan infografik sunum sürecini irdeleyen bu araştırmanın birinci bölümünde iletişim süreçleri, türleri ve işleyişi ele alınır. İkinci bölümde kitle iletişim araçları, işlevleri ve haber incelenmekte; üçüncü bölümde ise iletişimi kültürel bağlamda inceleyen göstergebilime ve semiyolojik değerlendirmelere yer verilmektedir. Dördüncü bölümün konusu haberin (bilginin) tasarım sürecidir. Bu bölümde bilgi ve bilgiyi tasarlamanın önemi, iletişim sürecinde grafik argümanların okunması, infografiğin temel yapısı ve türleri anlatılmıştır. Ayrıca Türkiye'de haber sunumunda infografik gelişim süreci ve günümüzde geldiği nokta tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç ve öneriler bölümünde ise genel bir değerlendirme yapılarak ülkemizde infografik tasarımının yaygınlaştırılmasına yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.ANAHTAR KELİMELER: İnfografik, bilgi tasarımı, grafik muhabir, iletişim, gazete tasarımı, göstergebilim, gürültü, bilgi anarşisi. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Today, with the abundance of news and its sources, the importance of presenting information has increased. The density of information forces an individual to choose the right, easy and apprehensible. The common goal of the journalists and designers presenting data is to show the news and have it read without fending the reader off. The coding of information and its decoding by readers are important in the process of communication. This thesis analyzes the ways infographics, as a form of news and information design in press, use illustrations, photographs, maps and other graphic elements in an organizational form from historical, theoretical and practical perspectives. The fist chapter of the thesis that investigate the process of infographic presentation from designer to reader; focuses on the processes, types and functions of communication. The second chapter examines the devices of mass communication and their functions in addition to the concept of news. The third chapter involves an analysis of semiology with its cultural perspective on communication in addition to semiological evaluations. The topic of the fourth chapter is the design process of information (news). This chapter discusses the concept of information and the importance of its design; the fundamental structure and types of infographics. Furthermore in this chapter, the development process and the current place of infographics in news design in Turkey.
