dc.description.abstractİpek böceği, Bombycidae familyasından (Bombyx mori), dut yaprağı ile beslenen bir cins kelebeğin tırtılıdır ve ürettiği ipek önemli bir dokuma sanayi hammaddesidir. İpek böcekçiliği, ipek böceğinin tek besin kaynağı olan dut yaprağının sağlanmasıyla başlayan ve ipek elde edilinceye kadar süren bir faaliyettir. Bu çalışmada, Hatay ili, Defne, Antakya, Samandağ ve Yayladağı ilçelerinde İpek böceği ile uğraşan yetiştiricilere anket soruları yöneltilmiş ve ipek böceği yetiştiriciliğinin genel durumu tespiti edilmiştir. Hatay ilinde ipek böceği yetiştiriciliğinin genel durumu incelendiğinde, dut yaprağı temini, yetiştirme sorunları, hastalık ve elde edilen kozaların satılmasında sıkıntılar yaşandığı tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada arazisi olmayanlar, ankete katılanların % 53,8'ini oluşturmuştur. Yetiştiricilerin arazisi olmaması dut yaprağı elde edilmesini zorlaştırmaktadır. İpek böceği bakımının zor oluşu ve ipek böceği yetiştiriciliğinin karlı bir iş olmaması diğer bir sıkıntıyı oluşturmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractSilkworm, a Bombycidae family (Bombyx mori), is a kind of butterfly that feeds on mulberry leaf and is an important weaving industry raw material. Sericulture is an activity that starts with the provision of mulberry leaf, the only food source of the silkworm and continued until the silk is obtained. In this study, questionnaires were asked to the farmers dealing with silkworms in the provinces of Hatay, county Defne, Antakya, Samandağ and Yayladağı and the general situation of silkworm breeding was determined. When examined the general situation of silkworm breeding in Hatay province, it has been determined that there are problems in selling the cocoons, rearing problems, to provide mulberry leaf and diseases obtained. In work those who haven't land constituted 53.8% of the respondents. It makes difficult obtain mulberry leaves for the breeders not who have land. The difficulty of silkworm care and the fact that silkworm breeding is not a profitable business is constituted another complication.en_US
