dc.description.abstracts Saglıgı ve s Güvenligi çalısmalarının amacı, is kazaları ve meslek hastalıklarından çalısanları korumak, daha saglıklı bir ortamda çalısmalarını saglamaktır. Ancak iki husus vardır ki bunları gözardı etmemek gerekir. Bunlardan biri üretimin güvenligini saglayarak verimi artırmak, diger ise, isletme güvenligini saglamaktır. s kazaları ile meslek hastalıklarının neden oldukları kayıpları en aza indirmek amacı ile bilimsel arastırmalara dayalı güvenlik önlemlerinin saptanması ve uygulanması dogrultusundaki çalısmalar ise kısaca ?s Güvenligi? terimi içinde toplanmaktadır. s Saglıgı ve Güvenliginin genel amacı; gerek isçiye ve gerekse ailesine, is yerine ve diger merciilere gelen yükümlülükleri azaltmak ve buna baglı olarak, ülke ekonomisine verdigi zararları önlemektir. Yüksek Lisans Tezi olarak sunulan bu çalısmada s Saglıgı ve Güvenligi sorununa çözüm olabilecegi düsünülen, bu konuda yeni ancak kabul görmüs ve yaygınlasmakta olan yönetim Sistemi OHSAS 18001 ele alınmıs, temel kavramları anlatılmıs ve nsaat Sektöründeki uygulamaları üzerinde çalısılmıstır. Örnek olarak seçilen skenderun Demir ve Çelik A.S.'de ki uygulamalarına yer verilmistir. s saglıgı ve güvenligi çalısmaları her seyden önce bir kültür, bilinç, kaynak ve denetim isidir. OHSAS 18001, düzenlemeleri ile tüm bu ögeleri bir araya toplayan, uygulanabilir ve esnek yapıya sahip bir yönetim sistemidir. dc.description.abstractThe aim of the studies on the business health and the business security is to protect employees from industrial accidents and job illnesses, and provide them to work at healthier environment. However, there are two conditions we must consider, which are to increase the productivity by providing the security of the production, and to provide the management security. Determining and applying the security precautions based on scientific research by minimizing the loss that are caused by the industrial accidents and job illnesses is briefly `work safety?.The general purpose of the work health and the work safety is to reduce the responsibilities of the employees, their families, factory and the other departments; and related with this, to prevent the damages on the country economy. In this master thesis, the administration system OHSAS 18001 which is recently accepted and spreading, and which can be a solution to the business health and safety problem is considered. The main concepts of this is explained and the applications of this on the construction sector is expressed. The applications at ?skenderun Demir ve Çelik A.S? has been ezamined as a case study. First of all, it was seen that the Occupational Health And Safety organizations are a culture, conscious, search and management work. OHSAS 18001 is a management system which has an applicable and a flexible stucture to compose all these elements with their arrangements. If it is applied to supply of their necessaries, tihs system is the candidate to be solution of occupational health and safety problem which causes material and spiritual losses . 2007, 58 pagesen_US
