dc.description.abstractAmaç: Menisküs yırtığı Ģüphesiyle artroskopi yapılan hastalarda, manyetik rezonans görüntüleme sonuçlarını, artroskopi bulguları ile karĢılaĢtırarak tanı koymadaki etkinliklerini araĢtırıldı.Gereç ve Yöntem: Haziran 2009-Mayıs 2012 tarihleri arasında menisküs yırtığı Ģüphesiyle artroskopi yapılan ve diz MRG çekilen toplam 165 olgunun görüntüleri retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Artroskopi altın standart kabul edilip MRG sonuçları ile karĢılaĢtırılarak duyarlılık, seçicilik, pozitif tahmini değer, negatif tahmini değer ve doğruluk oranı ile istatistiksel analizi yapıldı.Bulgular: ÇalıĢmaya 73 (%44,2) kadın, 92 (%55,8) erkek olmak üzere 165 olgunun 167 diz MRG incelemesi dahil edildi. Olgularımızın yaĢ ortalaması 44,18 (14-70) idi.ÇalıĢmamızda; medial menisküs için MRG‟nin duyarlılığı %85, özgüllüğü %82, pozitif prediktif değeri %82, negatif prediktif değeri % 85 olarak bulundu. Lateral menisküs için bu değerler sırasıyla % 84, %94, %82, %95 olarak bulundu.Sonuç: Menisküs lezyonlarının değerlendirilmesinde MRG kolay uygulanabilen non-invaziv ve güvenilir bir yöntemdir.en_US
dc.description.abstractBackground and Aim: Patients who underwent arthroscopy for suspected meniscal tears, the results of magnetic resonance imaging, arthroscopy findings were investigated by comparing the efficiency in diagnosis.Methods: Between June 2009-May 2012 on suspicion of meniscal tears and knee arthroscopy MRI images taken with a total of 165 cases were evaluated retrospectively. Arthroscopy is the gold standard for comparison with the results accepted and MRI sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy of the statistical analysis was performed.Results: Study, 73 (44.2%) were female and 92 (55.8%) were male and 165 patients, including 167 MRI of the knee were included. The mean age of the patients 44.18 (14-70) years. In our study, the sensitivity of MRI for medial meniscus was 85%, specificity 82%, positive predictive value 82%, negative predictive value 85%, respectively. The same values for the lateral meniscus 84%, 94%, 82%, 95%, respectively.Conclusion: MRI evaluation of meniscal lesions and highly reliable non-invasive method that can be applied easily.en_US
