dc.description.abstractKimliğin simgesel oluşumu; insanların gündelik yaşamlarında anlamiliştirdiği nesne, olay, ses ya da yazılı biçimlere dayalı kurgulardır. Bu kurgular,etnik kimliklerin aidiyet ve dışlama gibi mekanizmaları devreye sokarak `biz' ve`onlar' kavram çifti dolayımında sınırlar inşa eder. Sınırın kendisi ise, kimliğinsimgesel boyutudur ve bir topluluğun kendisi ile ilgili bilincini yaşatır: Kimi zamankadın ve erkek, kimi zaman dini, geçiş ve ölüm ayinleri; kimi zamanda ibadet edilenmekan; kimi zaman içinde yaşanılan çevre; kimi zaman geçmişin hatırası vb. olabilir.Nusayri kimliği de kendi simgesel alanını bunların üzerine inşa ederek yüzyıllarcabir arada yaşadıkları kimliklerden ayrımlaşmış ve günümüze kadar asimile olmadanayakta kalabilmiştir.Çalışmamızın birinci kesiminde; çalışmanın kuramsal ve kavramsalçerçevesine, önemine ve amacına, kapsam ve sınırlılıklara, yönteme ve araştırmaalanına yer vermektedir.Çalışmamızın ikinci kesimi, Nusayriliğin Simgesel Oluşumu adı altında beşbölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Nusayri kimliğinin inanç sistemi içinde yeralan bâtın ve zâhir kavram çiftlerinden hareketle inancın nasıl oluşturulduğu vebunun gündelik yaşamla nasıl ilişkilendirildiği üzerinde durulmuştur. Ayrıca kavramçiftlerinin kadın ve erkek arasındaki cinsiyet sınırlarının da belirginleştirildiğianlatılmaktadır.kinci bölümde, Nusayri kimliğinin inanç pratikleri içindeki simgelerin nelerolduğu ve bu simgelerin insanları nasıl bütünleştirdiğine yer verilmiştir.iiÜçüncü bölümde, Nusayri kimliğinin aile ve akrabalık ilişkileri bağlamındaortaya çıkan simgelerin neler olduğu ve simgelerin insanlar tarafından nasılanlaşıldığı üzerinde durulmuştur.Dördüncü bölümde, Nusayri tarihinin simgesel inşasında ortaya çıkanöğelerin (Gadır Humm, Kerbela Olayı ve Kayıp mam, hayali soy ve hikayeler)insanlar tarafından neyi ifade ettiği üzerinde durulmuştur.Beşinci bölümde, etnik kimliğin oluşturulmasındaki simgeler (ammu seyid,şeyh, türbeler) ve kimliğin kendinin nasıl tanımladığı ve ideolojik söyleminin neolduğu, kendi aralarındaki iletişim biçimini nasıl sağladıkları üzerinde durulmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe symbolic construction of identity is made up of abstract thoughts basedon objects, events and written and oral forms to which people attribute maning.These abstract thoughts construct borders by putting into use mechanisms of ethnicidentities such as `belonging? and `exclusion? with respect to the concept couple, `us?and `them?. The border itself is the symbolic dimension of identity and reflects theconscience of a community upon itself: sometimes man and woman, sometimesrituals of religion and death, and at some other times the place of worship, theenvironment or the memory of history. The identity of the Nusayri has differentiateditself from the identities with which they lived for centuries and managed to survivewithout being assimilated until now by constructing its symbolic extent by usingthose elements mentioned above.The first section of our study is composed of the theoretical and conceptualframe, significance and objective, the extensions and restrictions, the method andfield of the study.The second section of our study is composed of five parts which is named asThe Symbolic Construction of The Nusayri/The firsth part includes the formation ofthe faith and how it is related to the daily life originating from the concept couple,`bâtın? and `zâhir?, within the faith system of the Nusayri identity. Besides, it isexplained that the concept couples strengthens the sexual borders between man andwoman.The second part includes the symbols within the faith practices of theNusayri identity and how these symbols integrate people.ivThe third part examines the symbols which appear within the context of therelations of family and kinship and how these symbols are perceived by people.The fourth part dwells on what the elements (Gadir Humm, Kerbela, theLost mam, the imaginary descent and stories) which are formed through thesymbolic construction of the Nusayri history, mean to people.The fifth part examines the symbols (ammu seyid, sheikh, turbes) whichform the ethnic identity and how the identity defines itself and what its ideologicaldiscourse is and what the form of the communication between them is.en_US
