dc.description.abstractAmaç: Çalışmamızın amacı Hatay Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Acil Servis'ine başvuran el travmalı hastaların klinik özelliklerini belirlemek ve bu verilerin ışığında acil servise başvuran el travmalı hastaların profilini oluşturarak önleyici tedbirler geliştirmek ve travma sonrası el fonksiyonlarının bozulması, ruhsal bozuklukların engellenmesi ve iş gücü kaybını azaltıcı önlemler hakkında fikir sunmaktır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı nitelikteki retrospektif çalışmamıza 2019 yılında acil servisimize el yaralanması ile başvuran 326 hasta dâhil edildi. Örneklem seçilmemiş olup gebeler ve ekstremite dışında travması olan hastalar dışındaki tüm vakalar çalışmaya dahil edildi. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanıldı. Bulgular: Araştırmamızdaki 326 hastanın %65,6'sı erkek, yaş ortalaması 31,3±17,4'tür. Hastaların %56,1'inde izole yumuşak doku zedelenmesi mevcuttur. Hastaların %45,7'si sadece takip edildi. En sık yaralanma nedeni %47,2 ile düşmedir. Erkeklerde komplex yaralanma ve ampütasyonun kadınlara göre daha fazla olduğu tespit edildi (0,044; 0,010). Hastaların %21,8'ine konsültasyon istendi. Konsültasyon istemi erkeklerde daha fazladır (0,003). Sonuçlar: Erkeklerde daha sık görülen el yaralanmaları acile başvurularda önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bireysel ve toplumsal bir sorun olan el yaralanmaların önlenmesi ile olası sakatlıkların önüne geçilebilir ülke ekonomisine katkı sağlanabilir.en_US
dc.description.abstractAim: The aim of our study is to determine the clinical features of hand trauma patients who applied to Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Hospital Emergency Department and to develop preventive measures by forming the profile of hand trauma patients who applied to the emergency service in the light of these data, and to take measures to reduce post-traumatic hand function impairment, mental disorders and loss of work force. Methods: In our descriptive retrospective study, 326 patients with hand injuries were included in our emergency department in 2019. The sample was selected and all cases were included in the study except pregnant women and patients with trauma other than extremities.. SPSS 22.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. Results: Of the 326 patients in our study, 65,6% were male, with a mean age of 31.3±17.4 years. Isolated soft tissue injury is present in 56,1% of the patients. Only 45,7% of the patients were followed up. The most common cause of injury was falling with 47,2%. It was found that complex injuries and amputations were more common in men than in women(0,044; 0,010). Consultation was requested in 21,8% of the patients. Consultation request is higher in males(0,003). Conclusion: Hand injuries, which are more common in men, have an important place in emergency admissions. With the prevention of hand injuries, which are an individual and social problem, possible injuries can be prevented and a contribution to the national economy can be made.
