Özet
Enerji, ülke ekonomileri için çok önemli yer tutmaktadır. Artan nüfusla birlikte her geçen gün enerji ihtiyacı artmaktadır. Geçmişte yaşanan petrol krizleri, savaşlar, petrol fiyatlarındaki dalgalanma, ulusal bağımsızlık, çevresel faktörler, bilinen üretilebilir fosil yakıt rezervlerinin yakın zamanda tükeneceği düşünüldüğünde ülkeleri temiz, yenilenebilir, çevre dostu alternatif enerji kaynaklarına yönelmeye sevk etmiştir. Bu alternatif enerji kaynaklarından bir tanesi de bitkisel yağ, hayvansal yağ ve bunların kullanılmış olanlarından üretilen biyodizeldir. Bu tez çalışmasında ilk kısımlarında alternatif enerji kaynaklarından bahsedilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonraki bölümünde ise biyodizel üretim teknolojilerinden bahsedilmiş, biyodizel üretim süresince yaşanan sorunlar ve çözüm yöntemleri üzerinde durulmuştur.
Energy is very important for the economy of countries. Day by day, need for energy incrises because of the growing population. Past petrolium crises, wars, the surges in the petrolium prices , national independence, enviromental factors and the fact that known reserves of fossil fuels will be exhausted in the near future make the countries search for clean, renewable and alternative energy sources. In the first chapter of this thesis, alternative energy sources were explained. In the next chapter of this study, biodiesel production technologies were mentioned, the problems faced in the process of biodiesel production and solution ways were specified.
