Özet
Gürültü istenmeyen, rahatsız edici ses olarak tanımlanır. Bir gürültü ne kadar anlamsız, ne kadar siddetli, ne kadar düzensiz ve ne kadar ani olursa o kadar rahatsız edicidir. Gürültünün insanlar üzerinde fizyolojik etkilerinin oldugu birçok bilimsel çalısma ile ispat edilmistir. Bu etkilerin baslıcaları stres, kan basıncında artıs, kalp atıslarının ve kan dolasımının degismesi ve uykusuzluk olarak tespit edilmistir. Stres ve uykusuzluk, gürültünün uzun süreli fizyolojik etkilerindendir. Bu çalısmada içten yanmalı motorların olusturdugu gürültü incelenmistir. Motorlu bir tasıt da mekanik sistemleri, yanma, egsoz sistemi, havalandırma sistemi ve tekerlek kaynaklı olarak gürültü üretir. Genel olarak motorların mekanik sistemleri tasıt gürültüsünde en büyük paya sahiptir. Mekanik sistemlerin olusturdugu gürültünün en büyük kaynagı ise titresimdir. Yapılan deneysel çalısmalar sonucunda kaputu açık olan arabanın gürültü seviyesinin yüksek oldugu tespit edilmistir. Motor kaputunda yalıtım malzemesi kullanılması durumunda gürültünün azaldıgı anlasılmıstır. Ayrıca mars dinamosu ve kayıs gibi gürültünün etkin kaynagı olan parçalarının motor kaputunun sag tarafında olması nedeniyle tasıtın sag tarafından daha yüksek gürültü seviyesi ölçülmüstür.
Noise is defined as unwanted and disturbing voice. The noise is disturbing as how much it is meaningless, hard, untidy and unexpected. By many scientific study it is determined that noise has physiological effects on huımans. These main effects are stress, increase of blood pressure, difference at heart pulses and blood circulation and insomnia. Stress and insomnia are long time physiological effects. In this study noise generated by internal combustion engines is studied. A motor vehicle produces noise cause of it?s mechanical system, combustion, exhaust system, ventilation system and wheels. Generally mechanical systems of the engine are the main reason of the vehicle noise. Vibration is the main reason of the noise caused by the mechanical systems. As observed from the experiments, it is determined that the noise level of the car, which it?s bonnet is opened, is higher. It is determined that the noise level is decreased in case insulating material is used on the bonnet of the car. Besides, higher noise level is measured at the right side of the car since the starter and the belt, which is the effective parts of the engine noise, are on the right side of the car.
