dc.description.abstractIn this study, the average wind conditions and economic analyses of four identical wind turbines of three-bladed and 3 MW of rated power located in an installed wind farm abbreviated as WTPP and found in Eastern Mediterranean region of Turkey in Hatay province, were conducted. In this way, the probability density distributions based on wind directions regarding these identical wind turbines of the wind farm as well as cumulative probability density distributions regarding wind speeds for all identical wind turbines were performed. Besides, the economic analysis in terms of the present value calculation for a 3 MW rated power wind turbine was executed, in which the results demonstrated that the application of the wind turbine project of this type would be profitable.en_US
