Özet
Bu çalışmada literatürde olmayan yeni tip asimetrik Schiff bazları ve onların Cu(II) komplekslerinin sentezi, yapı tayini ve termal davranışları incelenmiştir. Bu amacın gerçekleştirilebilmesi için Schiff bazının sentezinde hem alifatik hem de aromatik diamin grup içeren ve yapının asimetrik olmasını sağlayacak olan diamin bileşiği olarak 2-aminobenzilmanin kullanılmıştır. Bu diaminin ile gossypolün kondenzasyon tepkimesinden Schiff bazları sentezlenmiştir. Ligand karakterinde sentezlenen Schiff bazlarının Cu(II) komplekslerinin sentezi ve yapı tayini de gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın uygulamaya dönük kısmında ise sentezlenen tüm bileşiklerin hesaplamalı kimya yöntemi ile bazı özellikleri hesaplanmıştır.
In this study, the synthesis, structure determination and thermal behavior of new types of asymmetric Schiff bases and their Cu(II) complexes, which are not available in the literature, were investigated. In order to achieve this aim, 2-aminobenzylmanine was used as the diamine compound containing both aliphatic and aromatic diamine groups and which will make the structure asymmetrical in the synthesis of Schiff base. Schiff bases were synthesized from the condensation reaction of this diamine and gossypol. Synthesis and structure determination of Cu(II) complexes of Schiff bases synthesized in ligand character were also carried out. In the practical part of the study, some properties of all synthesized compounds were calculated using the computational chemistry method.
