Bazı süs biberi hatlarının saksılı süs bitkisi olarak kullanımının belirlenmesi ve morfolojik karakterizasyonları

Özet
Süs biberleri, diğer biber tiplerinde de olduğu gibi Güney Amerika kökenli olmalarına rağmen, ülkemizde çok sevilmiş ve genetik çeşitliliğe ulaşmışlardır. Bu çalışma kapsamında, seleksiyon ve melezleme ile oluşturulan 16 farklı süs biberi genotipinin Alpçelik çeşidi ile karşılaştırmalı morfolojik karakterizasyonu yapılmıştır. IPGRI (Uluslararası Bitki Genetik Kaynakları Birliği) tarafından geliştirilen biber deskriptörü yardımı ile bitkisel özellikler morfolojik karakterizasyonda kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan 16 biber genotipi 21'i kalitatif, 11'i kantitatif olmak üzere 32 morfolojik özellik ile karakterize edilmiştir. Yapılan gözlem ve ölçümlerde 1 kalitatif özellikte (tohum rengi) herhangi bir çeşitlilik görülmezken, diğer incelenen özelliklerde düşük yada yüksek oranda farklılıklar olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak kantitatif özelliklerin incelendiğinde; çalışmada kullanılan süs biberi genotiplerinin ortalama bitki boylarının 12.5-76.6 cm, taç yaprak uzunlukları 0.94-2.03 cm, bitkideki ortalama meyve sayısı 11-128 adet/bitki, ortalama yaprak eni 1.55-6.69 cm, ortalama yaprak boyu 4.17-11.10 cm, klorofil miktarı 40.5-85.1 SPAD birimi, ortalama meyve uzunluğunun 15.4-114.1 mm, ortalama meyve genişliğinin 8.8-38.1 mm, olgun meyve ağırlıklarının 0.87-26.68 g, ortalama meyvedeki tohum sayılarının 16-83 adet ve bin tohum ağırlıklarının 2.46-6.99 g arasında değişim gösterdikleri belirlenmiştir. Yapılan çoklu değişken analizlerinden temel bileşenler analizi sonuçlarına göre toplam varyans %70.5 olmuştur. Genotiplerin, kümeleme analizi sonucunda iki farklı temel gruba ayrıldıkları belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlar bir bütün olarak değerlendirildiğinde MKÜ-4, MKÜ-35, MKÜ-43, MKÜ-44, MKÜ-71, MKÜ-73, MKÜ-84, MKÜ-101 ve MKÜ-106 kodlu genotiplerin ilk aşama süs bitkisi olarak kullanılabilecek genotipler olarak öne çıkmışlardır. Bu genotiplerden MKÜ-84 kodlu genotip Ekim 2018'de yapılan tescil toplantısında ÖZALKAN ismi ile üretim izni almış ve tescil denemelerine alınmıştır.
Ornamental peppers, as in other types of peppers, although they are of South American origin, in our country is very popular and has reached wide genetic diversity. Within the scope of this project, morphological characterization of 16 different ornamental pepper genotypes produced by selection and hybridization were compared with Alpçelik cultivar. The plant characteristics of the pepper descriptor developed by IPGRI were used for morphological characterization. The 16 pepper genotypes used in the study were characterized by 32 morphological traits, 21of which were qualitative and 11 were quantitative. One of the traits which is seed color weren't observed differences, while other morphological traits were found to be low or high differences. As a result, when the quantitative characteristics were examined growing periods; ornamental pepper genotypes traits were determined in the average plant length 12.5-76.6 cm, corolla length 0.94-2.03 cm, the average number of fruit in the plant 11-128 pcs / plant, average leaf width 1.55-6.69 cm, average leaf length 4.17-11.10 cm, the average chlorophyll amount 40.5-85.1 SPAD units, average fruit length 15.4-114.1 mm, average fruit width 8.8-38.1 mm, mature fruit weights 0.87-26.68 g, the average number of seeds in the fruit 16-83 pieces, and thousand seed weights 2.46-6.99 g. According to the results of the principal component analysis, the total variance was 70.5 %. As a result of clustering analysis, genotypes were divided into two different basic groups. When the results were evaluated as a whole, the genotypes MKÜ-4, MKÜ-35, MKÜ-43, MKÜ-44, MKÜ-71, MKÜ-73, MKÜ-84, MKÜ-101 and MKÜ-106 were genotypes that could be used as ornamental plants. One of these genotypes, MKÜ-84 coded genotype received the production permission under the name of ÖZALKAN at the registration meeting held in October 2018 and was taken into registration trials.
