dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada Uşak ilinde arıcılık potansiyelinin araştırılması, arıcıların sosyo-ekonomik yapılarının tespiti, arıcıların sorunlarının belirlenip, bu sorunların çözümüne yönelik önerilerin sunulması amaçlanmıştır. Uşak ilinde arıcılık faaliyetiyle ilgili bilimsel çalışma mevcut değildir. Yapılan bu çalışma ile ileride yapılacak olan çalışmalara kaynak oluşturması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın ana materyalini Uşak ilinde arıcılık yapan işletmelerden anket yöntemiyle elde edilen veriler oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda Uşak ilinde arıcılık yapan toplam 75 adet işletmede yüz yüze anket yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre çalışmaya katılan arıcıların yaş ortalaması 53,19 yıl, arıcılık deneyimleri 18,47 yıl olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca ankete katılan işletmelerin %17,7'sinin asıl mesleğinin arıcılık olduğu, üreticilerin %39,2'sinin gezginci arıcılık yaptığı, işletme başına ortalama arılı modern kovan sayısının 50,1 adet, koloni başına ortalama bal veriminin 12,2 kg olduğu, arıcıların %36,9'unun ana arıyı değiştirdiği belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte arı hastalık ve zararlıları ile arı ürünlerinin pazarlanmasında karşılaşılan zorluklar en önemli sorunlardır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the investigation of beekeeping potential of Uşak, determination of the socio-economic structure and the problems of beekeepers and to find solutions for these problems were aimed. There is no scientific study of beekeeping activity for Usak province. It is aimed to be a source for the studies hereafter. The main materials were formed of the questionarie study data which were polled with the beekeepers in Uşak province. Within this scope, face to face survey was carried out with totally 75 honey bee breeders. According to these data, the average age of the participants was determined as 53.19, beekeeping experiences were 18.47 years. Also it is found that the main job of 17,7% of the participants was beekeeping, 39,2% of the producers were mobile, producers using modern hive were 50.1, the average honey yield for per colony was 12.2 kg. 36,9% of the beekepers changed the queens every year. However, the significant problems were the bee diseases and pests and the difficulties on marketing of bee products.en_US
