Abstract
Mesleki uygulamalar, okullarda öğrenilen teorik bilgilerin uygulamaya dökülmesidir. Bu
nedenle özellikle eğitim fakültelerinde okuyan öğretmen adayları mesleki uygulamalarda bir
uzman öğretmen kılavuzluğunda mesleki uygulama yaparlar. Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen
adaylarının mesleki uygulamalar hakkındaki görüşlerini belirleyebilmektir. Araştırmanın
örneklemini, 2021-2022 öğretim yılında Hatay Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesine
bağlı farklı bölümlerde okuyan ve mesleki uygulamalara giden lisans öğrencileri
oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma, mesleki uygulamaların etkililiğine ilişkin öğretmen adaylarının
görüşlerine dayalı nitel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmada, durum çalışması yöntemi kullanılmıştır.
Araştırmaya katılımlar tamamen gönüllülük esasına dayalı olarak yapılmıştır. Araştırma
verileri, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş olan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile
toplanmıştır. Elde edilen tüm veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile kodlanarak çözümlenmiştir.
Öğretmen adaylarının söylemlerinden hareketle araştırmada, özellikle mesleki uygulama
dersleriyle ilgili etkili bir yönetmeliğinin veya öğretim programının olması gerektiği sonucuna
ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada gerek okul yönetimlerinin gerekse de mesleki uygulama
öğretmenlerinin mesleki uygulamaya gelen öğretmen adaylarına biraz daha hassas
davranmaları gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada, öğretmen adaylarının mesleki
uygulamalar sayesinde deneyim ve tecrübe kazandıkları özellikle mesleki uygulama
öğretmenlerinden çok şey öğrendikleri ve mesleki uygulamaların kendilerine çok fazla
yararının olduğu gibi sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmen adayları özellikle sınıflarda
öğrencilerle etkili iletişim kurduklarını zorlandıkları yerlerde veya problemler karşısında
mesleki uygulama öğretmenlerinden yardım aldıklarını böylelikle sorunlarla nasıl başa
çıkacaklarını kısmen de olsa öğrendikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Professional practices are putting the theoretical knowledge learned in schools into practice. For this reason, teacher candidates studying in education faculties perform professional practices under the guidance of an expert teacher. The aim of this research is to determine the opinions of teacher candidates about professional practices. The sample of the research consists of undergraduate students studying in different departments of Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Education and going to professional practices in the 2021-2022 academic year. The research is a qualitative research based on the opinions of pre-service teachers on the effectiveness of professional practices. In the research, case study method was used. Participation in the research was made on a completely voluntary basis. Research data were collected with a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher. All the data obtained were analyzed by coding with the content analysis method. Based on the discourses of the pre-service teachers, it was concluded in the research that there should be an effective regulation or curriculum especially related to professional practice courses. In the study, it was concluded that both school administrators and professional practice teachers should be a little more sensitive to teacher candidates who come to professional practice. In the research, it was concluded that pre-service teachers gained experience and experience thanks to professional practices, learned a lot from professional practice teachers, and professional practices were very beneficial for them. In the research, it was concluded that the pre-service teachers communicated effectively with the students, especially in the classrooms, that they got help from the professional practice teachers in the places where they had difficulty or in the face of problems, so that they learned how to deal with the problems, albeit partially.
