Özet
Polibenzoksazinler 1,3-benzoksazinlerin ısı ile polimerleşmesi sonucu elde edilen fenolik tip reçinelerdir. Polibenzoksazinler, düşük su absorplama, ısısal kararlılık ve kimyasal dayanım gibi önemli özellikleri yanında yüksek kürleme sıcaklığı, işleme güçlüğü ve kırılganlıkları gibi birkaç dezavantaja sahiptir. Bu dezavantajlar benzoksazinlerin; fonksiyonlu gruplarla modifiye edilmesi, polimerik benzoksazinlerin sentezlenmesi veya dolgu maddeleri, fiberler veyüksek performanslı polimerlerle karıştırılması ile giderilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Ancak halen istenilen mekanik ve kimyasal özelliklere sahip polibenzoksazinler üretilememiştir. Bu çalışmada, Schiff bazları ile türevlendirilmiş yeni benzoksazin monomerlerinin sentezlenmesi, bu benzoksazinlerin kürleme davranışlarının incelenmesi amaçlandı. Bunun için önce Schiff bazları 2,4-dihidroksi benzaldehit ile 1,3-propandiamin, m-ksililen diamin ve 1,3-siklohekzan bismetilamin kullanılarak sentezlendi. Daha sonra Schiff bazları ile formaldehit ve anilinin halka kapanma reaksiyonu sonucu benzoksazin monomerleri sentezlendi. Benzoksazinler ısı ile halka açılması sonucu polimerleşirler, Sentezlenen benzoksazin monomerleri etüv ve kül fırını kullanılarak 120, 180 ve 230 ̊C'deki termal davranışları incelendi. Schiff bazları metal tutma özelliğine sahip yapılar olduğundan sentezlenen bileşiklerin Cu(II) kompleksleri sentezlendi. Bu çalışmada benzoksazinlerin Schiff bazı ile türevlendirilerek istenmeyen özelliklerinin iyileştirilmesi amaçlandı. Sentezlenen Schiff bazları ve benzoksazin türevlerinin yapıları elementel analiz (C,H,N), FT-IR, Raman, SEM, 13C-NMR, 1H-NMR, ve TGA-DTG/DSC ile karakterize edildi. Metal kompleksleri FT-IR, Raman, SEM-EDX, TGA-DTG/DSC, MP-AES ve magnetik susseptibilite ile aydınlatıldı. 2017, 100 sayfa
Polybenzoxazines are phenolic-type resins resulting from polymerization of 1,3-benzoxazine precursors with heating. Polybenzoxazines have many limitations, such as high curing temperature, processing strength and brittleness, as well as important properties such as low water absorption, thermal stability and chemical resistance. These limitations can be solved by modifying the benzoxazines with functional groups, by the synthesis of polymeric benzoxazines or by mixing them with fillers, fibers and high performance polymers. Although there are huge number of polybenzoxazine synthesized in the literature, however, polybenzoxazines having the desired mechanical and chemical properties have not yet been produced successfully. In this study it was aimed to synthesize some new benzoxazine monomers that are derivatized with Schiff's bases, to polymerize of these benzoxazines and to investigate curing behaviors these polymers.For this, firstly Schiff bases containing phenolic OH were synthesized, then benzoxazine monomers synthesized by ring closure reaction by using formaldehyde, aniline and Schiff base. Cu (II) complexes of the compounds synthesized were also synthesized to prove their implement success in metal catching since Schiff bases were structures with metal-holding properties. In the Schiff base synthesis, 2,4-dihydroxy benzaldehyde and 1,3-propanediamine, m-xylylene diamine and 1,3-cyclohexane bismethylamine were used.The thermal behaviors of the synthesized benzoxazin monomers at 120, 180 and 230 ̊C were studied using an oven and an ash furnace. In this study, it was aimed to improve chemical and physical properties of benzoxazines via derivatization with Schiff base.
